Just hanging on

Blog part three, and we're going to take a look at the ratings that Hellcats had for this weeks episode. Two million viewers, which amounted to mediocre ratings, adults 18-49 .9, adults 18-34 1.0 and women 18-34 was slightly higher at a 1.4. Among other shows on Wednesday night, Hellcats was by far the lowest, but America's Next Top Model. Among shows in the same time slot at 9 p.m. Hellcats was put to shame, with the top rated show being Modern Family scoring a 4.7 and had 11 million viewers.
According to the Nielson website, Hellcats is more likely to be renewed then canceled by May 2011, which is great for the program, but personally I gave up with it. I tried watching the first three episodes, and the monotony of the show just killed me, but I'm not really the audience. I guess the sad thing is is that I picked this show because I thought it would be canceled quickly and now it's looking like it will be renewed. That kids, is what we call irony! Hellcats hasn't cracked the top 25 yet, and I don't expect it to, but the CW may have found themselves a cult following with the show.
